Who requires a visa for a work permit in Hungary?

A work permit is necessary if you wish to work in Hungary. In your native country, you can submit an application for a work permit at the Hungarian embassy or consulate. You must submit the following paperwork:

How to obtain a visa for Hungary to work

1. Confirm whether you require a visa to work in Hungary.

Your need for a visa to work in Hungary will depend on your nationality. EU/EEA nationals do not require a visa, however nationals of other nations must apply for a work permit visa.



2. Compile the necessary paperwork.

If a visa is necessary, you must acquire the necessary paperwork. These include a current passport, employment documentation, and evidence of sufficient funds.

3.  Send your application in.
